Description

FENNEL
Fennel is a white, bulbous vegetable with stalks that have a strong anise-like flavor. Both the stalks and the bulb are edible and can be used in dishes or as a herb. This healthy vegetable is multifunctional. Fennel acts as a remedy for digestive problems. It soothes the stomach lining and intestines. To benefit from these properties, you can eat fennel or drink fennel tea.

Eyes: It’s not just the stomach that benefits from fennel. Your eyes can also gain from consuming fennel, as it may help improve vision. This effect has been scientifically proven in animals.

Pregnancy: For pregnant women, eating or drinking fennel or fennel tea positively influences the production of breast milk and breast tissue. This is due to the hormone anethole present in fennel.

Another positive aspect of this white bulb is its fresh taste. This is also why fennel is often used as a natural breath freshener. Chewing a handful of fennel seeds after a meal leaves your breath smelling fresh again.

Usage:
You can easily make fennel tea yourself by boiling fennel in water.
Alternatively, you can steep a tablespoon of fennel seeds in freshly boiled water for 7 minutes.

Tip:
If you have cooked fennel as a vegetable, save the cooking liquid to use as tea.

Warning:
We want to remind you that YOU are responsible for taking care of the health of your own body (and mind) at all times.
